DannE Posted October 25, 2007 Report Share Posted October 25, 2007 The website we have in production environment had a fast initial loading time but after the ChartFX assemblies were added, the first time it takes to load the page is 4 - 5 seconds and after that the page loads fast as long as the aspnet_wp.exe process doesn't sleep. Frank Posted October 25, 2007 Report Share Posted October 25, 2007 It is normal for ASP.NET to take some time the first time you hit a page (ASP.NET has to be loaded). I don;t know what you mean by aspnet_wp going to sleep. There is also a delay when a page or application is modified due to compilation time. doesn't look like something specifically related to Chart FX.
