himpact Posted March 26, 2015 Report Posted March 26, 2015 Hi, Is it possible to turn off the subscription expiration notice that showing up since march 2014? It seem to popup on each few compile build of my solution. When working remotely, visual studio is stuck for 1-2 min before the message appear. Thanks, Hai Quote
timlin Posted May 4, 2015 Report Posted May 4, 2015 I second this request. The nag screen sometimes hides, and you don't realize you need to click through. It also affects our build machines and requires manual intervention to continue the build. Quote
himpact Posted May 30, 2015 Author Report Posted May 30, 2015 I hope this is not the new business model for SoftwareFX, but a reply I got is that we will continue to receive the nag screen (but they can make it less than every time) unless we renew the subscriptions. While it was assured that this only affect the development and not released application, it is still a major concern to me as it does block automated build. Imagine starting your car and have to click Ok to the "your warranty has expired" every time before you can drive it. Quote
rtkoni Posted January 17, 2017 Report Posted January 17, 2017 (edited) We have the same problem on our build machines. The subscription expiration notice stops our automatic nightly build. It has already started 60 days before the subscription expires. Does anyone know a solution to this problem? Do we really need to use a tool, clicking the Close-button automatically every time when the message appers? Edited January 17, 2017 by rtkoni typing error Quote
AngelR Posted January 17, 2017 Report Posted January 17, 2017 Please contact our sales department (sales at softwarefx.com) to get more inputs about expired subscriptions. Quote
