User (Legacy)
when you have a large number of data points in a chart, not all the labels are shown because they wouldnt all fit because of overlapping. however on making the chart wider, there is much more space for labels, yet no more appear. in the extreme case of say someone having a widescreen monitor or the like, the labels would only take up about 10% of the available label space. is it possible to automatically "recalculate" how many labels should be shown on a resize of the control? thanks
Software FX
>> is it possible to automatically "recalculate" how many labels should be >> on a resize of the control? This is the default ChartFX behavior, to recalculate which labels can be shown when the chart is resized (it is also recalculated when an internal change in the chart, e.g. 3D attribute is changed or legend box is shown/hidden). Are you experiencing this issue on WinForms or WebForms ? Do you experience this in all of your charts ? Can you post sample code that exhibits the problem when pasted on an en empty chart ? -- Regards, JC Software FX Support "Peter Collins" <newkleer@bigpond.net.au> wrote in message news:hGauDsn7CHA.1064@webserver1.softwarefx.com... > when you have a large number of data points in a chart, not all the labels > are shown because they wouldnt all fit because of overlapping. > > however on making the chart wider, there is much more space for labels, yet > no more appear. in the extreme case of say someone having a widescreen > monitor or the like, the labels would only take up about 10% of the > available label space. > > is it possible to automatically "recalculate" how many labels should be > shown on a resize of the control? > > thanks > >
