Data Editor - extra columns

Recommended Posts

Hi,

When I add a data editor to the bottom of a chart that has lots of columns

(X Values) it truncates the data editor once it reached the edge of the

chart picture.

(This is for a web app so the chart and dataeditor object all appear

together in an image)

Can I get the data editor to "wrap" and continue displaying data so that all

data is displayed?

Thanks,

Dan.

Thanks for your reply. I'm not sure you've understood my query (or I haven't

explained it properly).

I would like the data editor to function exactly as it does now - (one

column for each value etc...) but for the whole thing not to be compressed

or just display half the data becase the it runs out of horizontal space and

hits the edge of the screen. So it would behave as in the diagram below

| jul04 | jul 05 | jul 06 | jul 07 | jul 08 | jul 09 | jul 10|

jul 11 | jul 12 | <edge of screen>

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

<edge of screen>

series 1 | x | x | y | z | x | x |

x | x | x | <edge of screen>

series 2 | x | x | y | z | x | x |

x | x | x | <edge of screen>

series 3 | x | x | y | z | x | x |

x | x | x | <edge of screen>

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

<edge of screen>

>>>> Wraparound >>>>

| jul 13 | jul 14 | jul 15 | jul 16 | jul 17 | jul 18 | jul 19| jul 20 | jul

21 |

------------------------------------------------------------------

| x | x | y | z | x | x | x |

x | x |

| x | x | y | z | x | x | x |

x | x |

| x | x | y | z | x | x | x |

x | x |

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Is this what you understood me to mean or is there a away to do this??

thanks,

dan.
