As soon as we change the series type to line, the annotations show up. When switching back to bar, the annotations do not show up. Is this a known issue? Is there something we're missing? Frank Posted February 21, 2008 Report Share Posted February 21, 2008 It looks like it has something to do (hard to say without seeing any code) with the way you are attaching your annotation objects to the X-Axis. Bar charts only support categorical X-Axis, so regardless of your X-Values, the attachment position must be expressed as an index in the X-Axis (0 for the first point, 1 for the second, etc.). In a line chart, the X-Axis is not categorical (if X-Values are passed) and therefore the attachment position is dependent on the X-Value and not on the point index.
