mcstoufer
Does anyone have some JSPs using the chartfx taglib? I've scoured the site here and I find nothing taglib except the API for it. It wasn't too helpful, just enough to get me confused. Please help!
GabrielA
There are several taglib samples included inthe product. Look inside the "samples\ChartFX\samples\TagLib" folder in your instalation.
mcstoufer
That directory does not exist in either the /cfxjava65dev of /cfxjava65prod installs I have. I am doing my development on OS X if that has any significance wrt what I was allowed to download.
mcstoufer
Come to find out, the CD I purchased does NOT have the TagLib sample dir, the latest download from the site does.
mcstoufer
After further review, the examples didn't really help much. I would like to see a monster example that exercised the more used features of the charting tool. Or maybe even include an XSD for the taglib as to save jumping around each doc page to understand the hierarchical order of elements. An example that drew data from a datasource (bean, etc..) would help as well.
GabrielA
We don't have a sample like that. All our samples are small and focusing in specific functionality. We have included some of them in tag library format, but we can supply more samples, we have most of the jsp samples in taglib format. I have placed them here: http://support.softwarefx.com/files/taglibsamples.zip Also, the taglib documentation is included in the product, or you can get it online at http://support.softwarefx.com/OnlineDoc/CfxJava65/. mcstoufer
I saw the Taglib docs and they are all there. I have been in the XML world for so long, I've become accustomed to reading XSD to understand hierarchy. I will follow up this thread in post# http://community.softwarefx.com/forums/t/8586.aspx
