PostPaint event (how to trigger a paint operation)

Hi again,

 Another quick question... I think I understand the PostPaint event concept, but I haven't been able to cause the Chart to repaint itself.. I tried calling the Chart.Invalidate() method, but this didn't seem to trigger a paint.  Or actually it sort-of does, because the chart appears to flicker, but the PostPaint even isn't called.
