Visual studio immedietely told me it does not like the newer assembly. I read something that suggested I simply need to add each chart and gauge again .. however I have used quite a lot fo them and this represents a significant re-work. In the short term setting the properties in the references to 'specific version false' works but perhaps this is not the best approach.
