SoftwareFX.ChartFX.Base.OutputText How do I use this thing?

SoftwareFX.ChartFX.Base.OutputText outputtext;

Tried to cast to this interface to chart but complained.  Would like to find another way to output the image other than chart1.DrawToBitmap(bitmap, targetBounds);     Would like something lighter than big nasty BMPs.    

I use import and export for the configuration as I use the formattype = XML;  I need the image to go into a powerpoint slide or possible back to SQL.

Where did you get SoftwareFX.ChartFX.Base.OutputText from? This belongs to Chart FX 6.2. This forum is for Chart FX 2005, and this interface is for internal use only. You are not supposed to be using this and it doesn't have anything to do with ouputing the chart to an image.

You can use the Paint method to draw the chart into any graphics, you can then save that graphics into a PNG or JPEG.

You can also use the Export method, export the hcart to a bitmap and then save that bitmap as a PNG or JPEG using System.Drawing.Bitmap.
