User (Legacy)
I have a chart that is being generated based on percentages however I have noticed a strange bug in chartfx. When graphing using the CurveArea gallery it seems that the drawing mechanism can throw in odd humps in data that has no value? A sample of this is located at http://www.digital-ego.com/bug/chartfx.jpg ... The data has 0 for values except for the last in the series but yet there is a small hump right before it when it has a 0 value? I also notice that 0 values sometimes get really small anti-aliased humps? Is this an error or bug in chartfx? If so when / how can it be fixed? Best Regards, Terrance A. Software FX
This is part of the smoothing algorithm. Since is has to go up so abruptly, in order to make it smooth, it has to produce that "bump". If you do not what this kind of smoothing, you can use a Line chart instead of a curve. -- FP Software FX
Software FX
Afterthought: Make sure you are using the latest Service Pack, we have fine tuned-the curve algorithm in the most recent versions. -- FP Software FX
