User (Legacy) Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 Drawing a SCATTER graph using marker CIRCLE with size 1, the graph is invisible!! If I use a size >= 2 for this marker, the graph appears correctly. Is this a bug of ChartFx?.. I noticed also that the circle shape and the diamond shape are very similar for size <= 3 (seem the same shape). Is it a bug?? Is it possible to download an upgrade version with this bug fixed?.. I'm using the ChartFx client/server version 5.0.14.0. Thanks again. Luca Oddi
Software FX Posted March 22, 2005 Report Posted March 22, 2005 Using Chart FX 5.1 on a default line chart I can see the Circle markers when MarkerSize is set to 1 (see attached screenshot). They are 1 pixel in radius like the MarkerSize directs. The fact that the circle and the diamond look the same in small sizes is dues precisely to the small size, in 2 pixels diameter the resolution is just not enough to make a circle look like a circle. -- FP Software FX

I agree with you using a LINE gallery, but using a SCATTER gallery (without lines) with MarkerShape=Circle and MarkerSize=1 the problem occurs. On the contrary, if MarkerSize=2 my series #1 becomes visible (see attached screenshots). Why doesn't it work with MarkerSize=1?... Thank you very much for your attention. Luca Oddi
Software FX Posted March 24, 2005 Report Posted March 24, 2005 This occurs because you have Borders set to False, and in a Scatter chart, there are no "forced" border like there is in lines (the Line chart needs a border in order to draw). You need to either set Borders=true or increase the MarkerSize. -- FP Software FX
