User (Legacy)
Hi everyone: Happy Holiday! I have 2 questions to ask. 1. when I set Grid.Style to dash and TickMark to Outside, there is a little gap between the TickMark and Axis, is there a way to remove those gaps and keep the grid style to be dash? 2. for lines chart, I notice there is a small distance between the first point and the Y Axis( the same between last value and the right Y Axis), how can I customize the distance? I tried setting the FirstLabel value but it seems not what I want thank you! michael

That "gap" is the gap in between dashes. The gridline/tickamrk is drawn as one big line. What you can do is to define a MinorStep, setting it to the same value as Step and use a solid style for the minor tickmarks. > 2. for lines chart, I notice there is a small distance between the first > point and the Y Axis( the same between last value and the right Y Axis), > how > can I customize the distance? I tried setting the FirstLabel value but it > seems not what I want This gap is there because the X-Axis is categorical. The only way to get rid of this gap is to convert your chart to an X/Y chart by setting X-Values. This will allow you to control the X-Axis in the same way you now control the Y-Axis. For more information on X/Y charts please check the programmer's guide. -- FP Software FX
