You can not have a transparent chart in this environment. Transparent child 

windows are simply not supported by Windows and as an ActiveX Chart FX is a 

Window.

What exactly do you want to achieve by making the chart transparent ? Maybe 

I can suggest an alternative. Can you attach a screenshot of what you need ?

This is a little sample, gradient backcolor with ChartFx.

I think about chart.hWnd, subclassing???? any idea???

Dues to the limitation of Windows this is not possible using the Chart FX 

ActiveX as it has its own window.

I see two options:

1) You can draw a chart on top of any DC using the Paint method, however in 

order for the Chart Control to be interactive it needs to be created as a 

window and therefore it can not be transparent.

2) You can process the PrePaint event and draw the background of your form 

inside of the chart window.
