User (Legacy) Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 I have a pie chart which contains drill down for each point. Is there a way to turn off, or set the colour of the border (to transparent) for the selected area/point? See attached image. Thanks. SR
Software FX Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 chart1.Border = false; To turn borders of for ALL slices. chart1.Point[<Slice Index>].Border = false; To turn off the border of a particular slice. -- FP Software FX
User (Legacy) Posted November 29, 2004 Author Report Posted November 29, 2004 Thanks for the reply. I think I may have confused my question with the terminology that I used. It's not the actual border of the slices I wish to turn off. It's the highlighted line that appears when the onmousedown event fires. To indicate the drill down area. The jagged line, not the slice border. However, if I select a different window, hence losing focus of the browser (IE in my case) and return to the page with the chart, I do not get the highlighted line when clicking on the chart slice. I've attached two images, one showing the graph when the page is loaded. The next showing the graph when I click on the chart. Software FX Posted November 29, 2004 Report Posted November 29, 2004 I think what you are talking about is something that IE does on its own. Is this an IMAGE being displayed in the browser with an image map ? If so, it is not us who draw anything when the mouse goes over. We are not running in the client. Please attach the HTML source of the page (Do a View-Source from your browser) as well as the image itself. I think that this "hot-spot" border can be eliminated by changing some attributes in the <img> tag. I'm not sure though as his falls a little bi out of home. -- FP Software FX Attachments.zip Attachments.zip
User (Legacy) Posted November 30, 2004 Author Report Posted November 30, 2004 That makes sense. Thanks for the response. It is indeed an image, I've attached the image. This is the source of the image tag; <IMG SRC="/chartfx62/temp/CFT1201_11044321DD8.png" WIDTH="368" HEIGHT="368" usemap="#chrtVolume" border="0"> Since the border is being set to '0' I guess it's just an issue with IE. Software FX Posted December 2, 2004 Report Posted December 2, 2004 It looks like it depends either on the version of IE or on some setting. I create an HTML file with this image and the map and I don't get the border when I hover over it. I played with the Border setting but I never got the border to show. Weird ! -- FP Software FX Attachments.zip Attachments.zip
