User (Legacy)
If I am using the PSS extension in a web farm, am I required to install ChartFX (CfxNetProduction.exe or whatever) on each web server? From the documentation it appears that I must simply include the required assemblies in my bin directory. Is this true? What exactly does the <Relative> tag in the ChartFX.Internet.config file do? Does the windows service generate the chart file, pass the file back to the requesting web server and the web server stores it in the location specified in this tag? Yes. You need to run the installer in every server. > From the documentation it appears that I must simply include the required > assemblies in my bin directory. Is this true? No. Where in the documentation did you see this ? Can you tell us so that we can correct it ? > What exactly does the <Relative> tag in the ChartFX.Internet.config file > do? This tag is NOT used when using the PSS extension. When you are NOT using the PSS extension, this tag represents the URL where the temporary files are created. -- FP Software FX
