Installing ActiveX control for the first time

Hi:

We checked with security setting on client and were set as recommanded.

Set security level medium-low.

Cleint is using IE5.

Any clue?

Please let us know to feedback our client.

The code here seems OK, specially if you are saying that some users can see

the chart.

Please check the following:

1) You didn't tell me what kind of icon they see, if they see a "Red X" is

permissions or Download Problem, if they see an icon composed of tree colors

with a triangle and a square in it is probably due to a licensing issue.

2) Check that the URL pointed by your CODEBASE is valid. To test this, take

the current URL and append /download/CfxIEAx.cab. For example, if you were

hitting:

http:www.foo.com/myfolder/mypage.htm

Type the following in your address bar:

http:www.foo.com/download/CfxIEAx.cab

3) Do the same thing with the license (/license/CfxIE.lic)

4) Check if your users can see any activeX at all.

Hi:

In reply to your first check, the client said that he gets "Red X".

How can he overcome this situation.

On our site we have licensed version running.
