User (Legacy)
I'd like to be able to control thickness and colour for individual lines on a Step Chart consisting of one series. Am I able to do this? How? tia Paul
Software FX
Do you mean individual line segments ? You can change individual segment's properties using the Per-Point attributes. For example: chart1.Point[0,0].LineWidth = 3; Will change the width of the first segment to be 3 pixels while leaving other segments to the series/global setting. -- FP Software FX, Inc. Software FX
Hello, In ChartFX Internet or ChartFX Client Server we allow you to set colors for each point. In a 2D line chart that means you can set the color of the marker shape but not the line segment. In a 3D line chart you can set the color for each segment. These versions do not support setting line thickness on a per point basis You would need to upgrade to our .Net version of ChartFX to set line thickness for each point. JT Tech. User (Legacy)
Thanks for replies I'm essentially creating a Kagi Chart (in Financial World). I want to set line thickness larger and colour to red for the all DOWN segments. I don't have the .net version, so it looks like I can't do it. To get the effect I needed, tried to create an overlay (second series) step chart with exactly same values, and assign CHART_HIDDEN to those segments I didn't want to see. This second series had a different colour. Didn't work Paul Paul Fell <paul@max-geoservices.com.au> wrote in article <01c2c01b$19098720$ddc53bcb@melville>... > I'd like to be able to control thickness and colour for individual lines on > a Step Chart consisting of one series.
