Missing License Tag

Software FX

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have the same problem as Pieter Boeren had on 07.07.2004.

Using Chart FX for .Net 6.2 with actual sp with ASP.Net and set the HtmlTag

property to Auto or .Net the message appears instead of showing the chart.

If the property is set to Image, then the non-interactive chart is getting

displayed.

If I host the whole thing on my local iis where the page is developed,

everything works fine. Also for calls from other clients. So it is

definitively a problem on the server.

We are having a full license and I used the same license code and serial

during setup on both machines (prod webserver and dev workstation).

The only obvious difference is that I used the dev-package on my workstation

and the prod-package on the webserver.

There was no solution in that earlier discussion. Is there any solution now?

Regards Alex

Please compare the file versions - not assembly versions - of the server and

client dlls:

Server: ChartFX.Internet.dll located in the bin folder of your web

application

Client: ChartFX.Internet.Client.dll located in the \ChartFX62\Download

folder

Also you may want to make sure to check the following on the client computer

gacutil /cdl

Delete files in your IE cache

Connect to your page

gacutil /ldl

This will list the assemblies effectively downloaded by the browser.
