User (Legacy)
If I try to place a chart from ChartFX onto the designer control (at runtime), or try to run a report from ActiveReports (programmed with Visual Studio 6.0), I get the error message 'Can't create object'. But if I use it 'direct' in VB, it can be created, without problems. And after this, I can use it in the designer control and viewer from AR, too. So, I have solved my problem with an invisible chart from ChartFX on my self programmed designer form (with AR Designer Control) and on the viewer form, but this can't be the correct method and I want to know how i have to solve the problem correctly. Software FX
The right solution would be that Active Report store the license of the control in the report so that when displayed at run-time it can pass it to it. In other words, Active Reports need to support Licensed Controls. There is nothing we can do on our side, you may want to contact Active Report's support. -- FP Software FX, Inc.
