User (Legacy)
I am using ChartFX 5 Client Server and I am using Pie charts with Lables and Percentages next to each pie slice. When a label is a couple of words it will run off the edge of the chart. I need to rotate the pie or shrink the pie to fit all the labels on the chart correctly. Also when the Pie slices are close together the labels will over lap. Does anyone know how to fix these behaviors so the pie chart will automattically fit with labels and percentages on the pie chart? Thanks, Dan Riek
Software FX
We have added a lot of logic for Pie labels in the new Chart FX for .NET, in Chart FX 5.x you have to manually adjust the labels. -- FP Software FX, Inc. files.zip
User (Legacy)
How does one go about adjusting the labels? Can you provide a simple example? Software FX
There is no simple way, you can add spaces to your labels to separate them from the chart but this only works if you have an idea of what the size of the slices arte going to be. This is why we added features to handle this in Chart FX 6. -- FP Software FX
User (Legacy)
The "best" way I could work it out was to format my string with a line break after a set number of characters. Spaces don't seem to help, but a newline "\n" does.
