User (Legacy)
Hi, this is probably a silly question but... how can I save the colors that chartfx assigns to the values of a pie chart? That is, I have a series with 15 values displayed as a bar chart. I can set the series properties and so on. If I switch to pie chart, I get a pie with 15 different colors. I need to know which value is associated with which color. Thanks!
Software FX
The Color array (Color property) is used but instead of per series it is used per point, you can display a Values legend to show this inside the chart. -- FP Software FX, Inc. User (Legacy)
As you said, using the Color property of the chart works (a loop from 0 to NValues-1). But I read in the help that the Color property is obsolete and is still there for compatibility reasons. Furthermore, the help states that the index of the property ranges from 0 to numSeries-1. Am I missing something? Should I use a different syntax? Software FX
The help is wrong, Color is not obsolete, and it is not limited by the number of series it is limited by the number of colors specified in OpenDataEx COD_COLORS. -- FP Software FX, Inc.
