setting specific Y-axis labels

Is there a way to specify that a particular value is displayed for a

y-axis label?

Currently, I set a min and max, with a step, and the labels are filled

in accordingly.

What I'm doing is showing a constant line (horizontal) for a value, and

I want to ensure that the value is displayed on the y-axis. (putting a

label on the constant line won't work for our application)

any help would be appreciated,

I'm afraid the only options will be:

1) Putting a label in the constant line (which you said you don't want)

2) Use an annotation object.

You must consider the possibility of the label overlapping other Y-Axis

labels if the step is not set appropriately.
