User (Legacy)
Has anyone had any problems printing to a color printer? If I try to print a chart to an HP color printer from within the ChartFX (98) control, the output is always black and white. If I copy the chart to Word and then print to the same printer it prints in color. I've made sure that the printer settings are for color but it still prints in black and white. We've tried several HP color printers, all modern, and still get the same results. Any help would be appreciated. Jeff
Software FX
Is it black and white or "gray shades" ? Some printer drivers will answer incorrectly when we ask weather or not they support colors, try setting Printer.ForceColors = True. -- FP Software FX, Inc. User (Legacy)
It is printing in gray shades. Where should I set Printer.ForceColors=True? We are developing in VB6 with ChartFX 98. We have no printing logic of our own. We merely included the Printer button included in the "Property pages" popup when designing the UI layout. We can set the "Force colors" at run-time from the print preview popup but if you could help me out with defaulting that programatically that would be a great help. Software FX
Just set: Chart1.Printer.ForceColors = True In your initialization code. -- FP Software FX, Inc. Attachments.zip
