User (Legacy)
I'm using Access 97's report writer with Chart FX. When I preview I see black and white patterns at a visible resolution. If I print directly to the printer it again appears at a visible resolution. However, when I print to a PDF file using Acrobat 4.0 or 4.05 PDFWriter and then view the document in Acrobat the black and white patterns are too small to see. I know that the patterns are being drawn because patterns that are more black than white show up as a darker grey than patterns that are more white than black. But patterns that are verticle lines appear at the same darkness as patterns that are horizontal lines. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to deal with this problem? Software FX
Try turning off "Use Printing Resolution" as follows: ChartFX1.Printer.UsePrinterResolution = False The acrobat driver creates a device context with a huge resolution, so when you look at it is always zoomed-out and therefore some thin lines can not be seen. -- FP Software FX, Inc.
