User (Legacy) Posted October 19, 2001 Report Share Posted October 19, 2001 I'm using Delphi 6 and install Chart FX 4, that I use in Delphi 5. When I drop the component in the form, or open a project using Chart FX, Delphi raise an exception : "Invalid variant operation.". Can anyone help-me ?? Thanks !!! Software FX Posted October 25, 2001 Report Share Posted October 25, 2001 We have been unable to determine why Delphi 6 throws that error, it happens before the chart is even created. Software FX Posted October 25, 2001 Report Share Posted October 25, 2001 We are aware of this problem but have been unable to find a solution so far. The error is thrown by Delphi before it even creates the control, so there seems to be something in the Type Library that's throwing it off. Of course this is the same Type Library that works with other versions of Delphi and other development tools. We believe this to be a bug in Delphi, but since we can't debug it (we never get called !!!) is very hard to know what Borland changed. -- FP Software FX, Inc.
