User (Legacy) Posted August 31, 2001 Report Posted August 31, 2001 Hi I'm trying to disable a few things when showing a chart in an asp page. I have customised the toolbar so that users can only change the appearance of the chart - I want to stop them accessing the data or using the print button amongst other things. I can't seem to work out how to disable or customise the context menu of the chart. Ideally, I want to disable right-clicking completely, but at least remove the Data Editor and Edit Title options from all context menus on a chart. I'd be really grateful for a direction to go in as I've only just upgraded from ChartFX 3.5, and I'm a bit stumped. Thanks
Software FX Posted August 31, 2001 Report Posted August 31, 2001 There is a sample in our KB that shows how to remove the right click menu for both the chart and legend windows. Point your browser to http://support.softwarefx.com/cfxie , select ASP samples and navigate to User Interface/Right Click Menus For additional restrictions please look at the Style and StyleEx properties, they will allow you to restrict additional functionality. PS: Please post ChartFX Internet questions in the CfxIE.* newsgroups. -- Regards, JC SoftwareFX "Laban" <laban.plant@internova.co.uk> wrote in message news:u#uX3AgMBHA.1120@webserver1.softwarefx.com... > Hi > > I'm trying to disable a few things when showing a chart in an asp page. > > I have customised the toolbar so that users can only change the appearance > of the chart - I want to stop them accessing the data or using the print > button amongst other things. > > I can't seem to work out how to disable or customise the context menu of the > chart. > > Ideally, I want to disable right-clicking completely, but at least remove > the Data Editor and Edit Title options from all context menus on a chart. > > I'd be really grateful for a direction to go in as I've only just upgraded > from ChartFX 3.5, and I'm a bit stumped. > > Thanks > >
