User (Legacy)
Hi All, After followed the instructions from NewGroups on how to create "SMOOTH Line", i managed to create connected line by pushing all the NULL value to the end and set it to CHART_HIDDEN but I am still facing another problem. The DataEditor shows the data not in ascending order (please refer to DataEditor.jpg) How do I solve this problem ? Is there any better way to deal with this kind of situation ? Thanks Regads, JH Chia
Software FX
The data will be displayed in the order in which you set it. If you need any particular order you must sort the data prior to sending it to the chart. -- FP Software FX, Inc.
User (Legacy)
I cannot sort the data. If I sort the data, then it will create broken line chart. I need to push all the Null value to the end so that I can create a smooth line chart. By doing so, it will produce unsort data that appear in DataEditor as shown in previous jpg file. Can I assign Chart and DataEditor with Ado.Recordset that have different sort order ? Software FX
I'm afraid I don't understand what you want to do. How do you want your data to look like in the data editor ? sorted based on what ? -- FP Software FX, Inc. Attachments.zip
