User (Legacy)
I just installed the product in our production environment and when I run the aspx page it cranks out the chart but it says: INVALID CHARTFX LICENSE 03600000 Why am I seeing this? Is it because I entered the serial number in incorrectly during the installation??? I am installing this on a Windows 2000 server with the 1.1 .NET framework - Visual Studio.NET is not installed on the server. Thanks, - Derek
User (Legacy)
Forgot to mention that this is for ChartFX.NET 6.2. I have uninstalled from Control Panel and reinstalled and I am still getting the same thing.... I also searched your support area and was unable to come up with anything dealing with invalid license... Software FX
Are you generating images (PNG,JPEG) or a .NET Component (in the client) ? If you are generating images, there seems to be an installation problem. Make sure you have Administrator permissions when you install Chart FX into the production server. A registry entry containing the license needs to be created. -- FP Software FX, Inc.
User (Legacy)
I am logged into the server with administrative level access. Is there something that I can check in the registry? What other things can I try since I have already installed twice on the server with the same results? Now one other thing that I should mention is that I installed the software on the server and then I copied over my .net application folder from my development xp pro station and dropped that on the server... so the /bin dll's are the ones that I was using on my development station... is that ok? they are the same date as the ones on the server in the chartfx62/bin folder. - Derek "Software FX Support" <support@softwarefx.com> wrote in message news:XJR9yxjHEHA.2848@webserver3.softwarefx.com... > Are you generating images (PNG,JPEG) or a .NET Component (in the client) ? > > If you are generating images, there seems to be an installation problem. > Make sure you have Administrator permissions when you install Chart FX into > the production server.
