User (Legacy)
I've got an application that successfully downloads the client component to XP based browsers, but hangs up the browser, when the browser is W2K based. Any ideas?
Software FX
Is the .NET framework installed in those clients ? What version ? are the security settings for the .NET framework set correctly so that .NET components can run inside your browser ? -- FP Software FX, Inc. User (Legacy)
Yes, The same version of .Net (1.1) is on both the XP boxes and the W2K boxes. The security settings and browser versions are the same as well. User (Legacy)
Hold on. We tried it on a clean W2K client and it worked. There must be a 3rd party app on our production clients that is causing a problem. Sorry about that. If we find anything interesting, I'll post an update.
