User (Legacy) Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 I have installed ChartFX.net on a server and a web application that employs the component. Every client that tries to access the web application only gets the empty scroll box. I have tried working with permissions all over the place, but to no avail. Any ideas on what to do?
Software FX Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 Check your Download cache (gacutil /ldl). Is Chart FX Client there ? 1) If it is not there, check your server permissions (NTFS permissions) for the Download virtual directory mapped to Program Files\CfxNet\ChartFX6\Download) 2) If it is, then it is a likely to be a .NET permissions (not NT permissions) issue in your client. Try hitting our support site, some of the samples there use the Client Component (particularly under Axis Handling/X Axis/Scrolling). Do you get a chart from our site ? -- FP Software FX, Inc.
User (Legacy) Posted April 2, 2003 Author Report Posted April 2, 2003 I checked the cache using the gacutil, and there were files in the cache. I also checked your web sites with an example, and the component does not download. Which permissions should I check for .net to download this?
