Failure to download license error with a secure (SSL) connection using ChartFX IE 2000

We are only able to view chart images within a secure connection.  As soon

as we attempt to download the ActiveX comonents we get a failure to download

licencse errror.  Is there a fix for this problem?

Have you tested the following URLs ?

http://yourserver/license/CfxIE.lic

https://yourserver/license/CfxIE.lic

Once you know which one of these URLs work you can modify the License entry

in CfxSrv.ini (Program Files\CfxIE\Config) , please note that this file is

cached so you will have to stop/restart the IIS Admin service or use the

LoadDefault trick.

Our server administrator made the change you suggested below.  So the path

is https://fortress.wa.gov/doh/epiqms.  This allows the ActiveX component to

download to IE 5.5 browser but users of IE 6.0 still get an image. Why?

Also, what if we have another web space on the same server that uses

ChartFX.  The config file will only work for the epiqms web space because of

the path.  Can multiple paths be put in the license entry?
