User (Legacy) Posted October 23, 2001 Report Posted October 23, 2001 We are only able to view chart images within a secure connection. As soon as we attempt to download the ActiveX comonents we get a failure to download licencse errror. Is there a fix for this problem?
Software FX Posted October 24, 2001 Report Posted October 24, 2001 Have you tested the following URLs ? http://yourserver/license/CfxIE.lic https://yourserver/license/CfxIE.lic Once you know which one of these URLs work you can modify the License entry in CfxSrv.ini (Program Files\CfxIE\Config) , please note that this file is cached so you will have to stop/restart the IIS Admin service or use the LoadDefault trick. -- Regards, JC "Shane Kokoruda" <skokoruda@libertysolutionsgroup.com> wrote in message news:d#I1Zf$WBHA.1756@webserver1.softwarefx.com... > We are only able to view chart images within a secure connection. User (Legacy) Posted March 25, 2002 Author Report Posted March 25, 2002 Our server administrator made the change you suggested below. So the path is https://fortress.wa.gov/doh/epiqms. This allows the ActiveX component to download to IE 5.5 browser but users of IE 6.0 still get an image. Why? Also, what if we have another web space on the same server that uses ChartFX. The config file will only work for the epiqms web space because of the path. Can multiple paths be put in the license entry? -Cathy "SoftwareFX Support" <support@softwarefx.com> wrote in message news:OLm1sONXBHA.2604@webserver1.softwarefx.com... > Have you tested the following URLs ? > > http://yourserver/license/CfxIE.lic > https://yourserver/license/CfxIE.lic > > Once you know which one of these URLs work you can modify the License entry > in CfxSrv.ini (Program Files\CfxIE\Config) , please note that this file is > cached so you will have to stop/restart the IIS Admin service or use the > LoadDefault trick. > > -- > Regards, > > JC > "Shane Kokoruda" <skokoruda@libertysolutionsgroup.com> wrote in message > news:d#I1Zf$WBHA.1756@webserver1.softwarefx.com... > > We are only able to view chart images within a secure connection.
