Software FX
>> May I ask why "Change" permissions on ini files ? ChartFX IE has a process where if a browser is not found in SfxCgi.ini, it will follow a set of wildcard rules in SfxCgiWC.ini. If a match is found it will update SfxCgi.ini to avoid the wildcard process the next time. I did it and now with IE and "Auto" in code it works. Initially, it was just read permissions > Have you tried using Netscape without SSL ? Yes with the same result > Do you get a puzzle icon where the chart should be located ? No nothing else but a white space. In fact it appears the plug-in was not correctly installed (god knows why) I forced netscape to visit the plugin page, I setup it again, an now everything seems to be fine. May I suggest you to add a special article in knowledge base or in FAQ about exact permissions to setup for different CFX files and registry keys. There is so many locations and files and for people who need to take care of security, it would be a great help, and it could save a lot of time. Thanks again for your help. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> > Frederic GERDIL (f.gerdil@igc.ch) > ICQ#51548199 > Network Administrator > IGC Secretariat > Phone : (4122) 917 83 46 > Fax : (4122) 917 80 58 > Portable : (033) 608 43 02 21 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
