ChartFX will always try to overwrite the image so you may want to check if the NT file permissions on the folder allow "Change" to the user impersonated by IIS (typically IUSR_MachineName if you are using anonymous authentication)

After I generate an image an save it in a directory using the 

'chart.Export.......' 

and then run my ASP page again, the above command does not overwrite the 

image file in the directory. 

How can I force CfxIE to overwrite the existing image.
