User (Legacy)
Hello, Since changing the operating system on my development machine from Windows 2000 to XP Professional, I find that my charts no longer work. I get the message, "CFX61B0. A temporary file on C:\SAsite\cfxtemp could not be created [5]." In Windows Explorer on XP, there is no tab to change the security permissions on the cfxtemp directory. What should I do? Thank you, Richard Lanser
Software FX
Chart FX is compatible with Windows XP. It seems that you have a problems with permissions, probably because you lost your NTFS permissions when you installed XP. Make sure you grant Write access to C:\SAsite\cfxtemp to the Web User (IIS User). -- Francisco Padron www.chartfx.com
Software FX
PS: Make sure you are logged in as an Administrator, there IS a "Security" tab in Windows XP. -- Francisco Padron www.chartfx.com
User (Legacy)
Francisco, Thanks. Turns out I also needed the Microsoft Knowledgebase info kb 308418 to get the security tab to show up. Once I did, problem solved!
