User (Legacy)
Sometimes the first time a chart is displayed on an ASP page (using ChartFX 5.5) that has a handful of annotation objects (placed using PaintInfo to get the position of a marker), I get an exception: error '800a01fb' An exception occurred: 'PaintInfo' The exception occurs when getting at the second item I'm after for a series. However, I'll refresh the page, and the chart will come up fine the second time. I don't have much more information than that at this point, but I'm wondering if this kind of thing has ever been a problem before? Thanks! -Daniel
Software FX
PaintInfo may crash if you pass wrong parameters to it. So the first thing I would check is what parameters are being passes to it when the crash occurs. -- FP Software FX
User (Legacy)
Thanks for the response. The strange thing is that when the exact same parameters are used several times, I only get the problem the first time (sometimes), and then subsequent times all succeed fine. It might be I'm only getting it after restarting, and then creating a chart for the first time (one that has annotation objects where I use PaintInfo to place it). Software FX
Do you have a repro case ? There is not much I can do without one. -- FP Software FX
