User (Legacy)
I originally sent the below post in chartfx.net.extensions but I have not received a response...I am not sure which newsgroup to post this in. To further clarify, when I asked "Can somebody let me know what is currently available, currently in development, on the list for development and what is not going to be done." I meant to compare the your statistical extension to the list of functions the is in the quote below. Thanks Dan I have been using your COM products for years and I am interested in your .net version w/ the statistical extension. One of my clients requested the below statistical functions, I looked at your website that described the statistical extension but I am not sure if all of the below functions are covered or if they are listed. Can somebody let me know what is currently available, currently in development, on the list for development and what is not going to be done. Thanks for any help. Software FX
The Statistical extension is available only for Chart FX for .NET at this time. Whit the exception of non-parametric analysis, all the concepts you mentioned are covered by the Statistical extension, and many more. You can download a free trial from our web site and take a look at the specific details -- FP Software FX
User (Legacy)
Thanks for the info and I already have chartfx.net and the extension. Is non-parametric analysis planned for a future release? Software FX
It is not in our plans yet, however at this point the next version of the Statistical extension is not yet defined, I will add this to our whish-list for consideration. Can you give me a little background on what are you going to use this for ? I would to get a feel for the kind of applications that will take advantage of this feature. -- FP Software FX
User (Legacy)
We have a data analysis application that our larger clients have requested the ability to perform statistical/quality analysis on clinical, patient and AR data. My company knows data as it pertains to a RDBMS system but we don't know anything about statistical analysis. We are partnering with HP to sell our current application with the assumption that we will be adding statistical functionality to it. We, HP and I, had a conference call today with Minitab, Inc (www.minitab.com) and we will be interfacing with them to get just results. We would like to also use Chartfx to allow the users to create "pretty" charts to go along with the results or to use Chartfx to generate both the results and charts. Thanks for any suggestions.
