Real-time and Financial

Hi,

We are trying to evaluate ChartFX Financial extensions (.Net V 6.*).

We need to provide a real time high-low-close screen with

technical analysis facilities -- indicators, trends, etc...

So far we were not able to force real time chart to scroll X labels

correctly

when Financial extensions are in use. Any ideas, examples, advices will be

highly appreciated.

Thanks a lot,

Igor

Dear Igor,

ChartFX for .Net 6.2 Financial Extension does not support real time

scrolling.

At current, you can reset the whole data to the chart which may produce

flickering as the whole chart has to be re-rendered instead of the just the

first and last points, OR you can calculate the indicator values yourself

and add them to your own pane. The second solution will not require the

Financial Extension at all but the calculating of the indicator values will

take some work. You will not have any of the nice UI that comes with the

financial extension but you will have the real time scrolling that is in the

core.

Will you have this functionality in the next release?

Thanks,
