Realtime drawing loop mode problem

Enclosed is a screen shot of the real time API running in loop mode. As you

can see the newest data points added to the chart are being connected to

oldest points in the chart with a line segment at the loop position. This

should not occur. Is there a work around for this?

This answer make NO SENSE.

If you are running a real time graph in loop mode, the oldest point should

not connect to the newest data point, can we agree on that?

The data point between the oldest and newest points should be a hidden point

so there is no connecting line. You guys are graphing experts, right?!

Although I think you have a valid point, however, this is not the way it is

in Chart FX, we will consider your input for future releases.

Connecting the last point to the first has been this way since Chart FX

version 1 and this is the first time that we receive this suggestion so I

think a lot of people would think it does make some sense.

I know it was broken in v6.2. I had to implement a work around by forcing a

hidden point at the newest / oldest point boundary.

The fact that no-one complains about it does not mean it is correctly

imnplemented.
