Please see the attachment, I hided the axis's labels and the title, still the _actual_drawing_area_ doesn't get any bigger. As you see, the second chart has a lots "wasted" spaces. I have the chart on a tab control, been setting chart.top=tabcontrol.top. Forgot things on a tabcontrol are relative to the tabcontrol! Thanks for the hint!
