ghfaulkner
I have an application using 6.2 and it has been running fine in IE7 for years but has issues in IE8 and IE9. The graph will display but then immediately, it receives an error. Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! Program: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe This happens on multiple machines.
ghfaulkner
Trying to revisit this again as it is still occurring. Upon further investigation, it does not seem to be related to IE 8 or IE 9. I have successfully run this on several machines that have those later browsers. So, the problem seems to exist due to some other component on the system. I can replicate this on my laptop. I have tried updating Java 6 and have tried installing the .NET framework but neither has made any difference. Any other component that this might rely on? My client uses the controls to modify the graphs so it must be run as ActiveX and not images. Any way to run this under non-IE browsers? ghfaulkner
Can someone at SoftwareFX please acknowledge? My client is willing to pony up the $699 for support if there seems to be a solution. Thanks, Greg
