Trying to revisit this again as it is still occurring.
Upon further investigation, it does not seem to be related to IE 8 or IE 9. I have successfully run this on several machines that have those later browsers. So, the problem seems to exist due to some other component on the system. I can replicate this on my laptop. I have tried updating Java 6 and have tried installing the .NET framework but neither has made any difference. Any other component that this might rely on?
My client uses the controls to modify the graphs so it must be run as ActiveX and not images. Any way to run this under non-IE browsers?
