GVIP Posted January 5, 2012 Report Share Posted January 5, 2012 I need to uninstall ChartFX 7 from my Windows XP machine and reinstall on Windows 7 machine with the same key. I dont see nay option to uninstall ChartFX 7 on my XP machine. Add/Remove Programs is not uninstalling the application. It just removes the application from the Add/Remove Programs list but not unregistering the license. When I try to install on the Windows 7 machine is says the license is in use. The instructions seem clear but even with a confirmed internet connection, the licenses remain unreleased. It took a little time but I was able to resolve it through the SoftwareFX security department. (See post http://community.softwarefx.com/forums/t/12364.aspx for license check/compliance links).
