User (Legacy)
I dropped the chart control from my toolbox on a .Net user control. I then ran the wizard and got the following error message. Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocatoion. Chart area that the chart occupies is the filled with the following exception System.NullReferenceExcption: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at SoftwareFX.ChartFX.1L.L8(paintInfo& 1VA, Adnorment 1VB, Color 1VC) at SoftwareFX.ChartFX.P.5F(IGraphicsEx, Rectangle& 0U0, PaintBar OU1) etc. at SoftwareFX.ChartFX.OnPaint(PaintEventArgs args) etc. I tried this with a form and I get the same problem. I gone to the hot fix site and download updates without any change in behavior. Thanks, Chris
Software FX
Can you check the file versions for ChartFX.dll and ChartFX.base.dll ? Have you tried dropping the charts and immediately canceling the wizard ? -- Regards, JC Software FX Support "Chris Voeller" <cvoeller@energyvelocity.com> wrote in message news:jwPY9LCpDHA.3636@WEBSERVER1... > I dropped the chart control from my toolbox on a .Net user control.
