srozga Posted May 7, 2009 Report Share Posted May 7, 2009 Hi, I am running a composite UI shell and one of our plugins is using the Chart FX components. We are unable to embed the license resource into the shell executable since the team that builds this shell doesn't have a ChartFx license. However, the plugin team does. Locally, the plugin team embedded the license resource into their executable assembly, which is why their build works. However, if we try to load their plugin into the official shell, we get a runtime license not found exception. Can the plugin team embed the license file in their plugin dll? Will ChartFx be able to locate the resource there? Can I tell ChartFx where to look for the resource? Can the license be compiled using lc.exe and just placed into the directory as a local file ?
