multiple bubbles on same point

I am plotting a bubble chart. My problem is that there are bubbles which have the same coordinates (x,y). Hence, only one bubble is visible and the others with same value are hidden behind. Is there any way in Chartfx to make the other bubbles visible?

If that is not possible, is it possible to offset the center of each bubble by a small degree so that it becomes visible?

Hi,

Please note that Chart FX uses two series of data to create a bubble chart. The first series passed to the chart is used for the actual point values (Y Values), while the second series is used to control the size of the bubble marker. So, since you are only able to pass one series (actual points) you should not have more than one bubble at the same point.

Hi,

That would not be possible. You may end up having two or more Y values for the same X value in the same series and that is not supported. In a bar chart, this behavior can be achieved by adding another series to the chart, so that a second point can have the same X value but in a different series. However in a bubble chart, Chart FX uses two series of data to create it. The first series passed to the chart is used for the actual point values (Y Values), while the second series is used to control the size of the bubble marker.

Regards,

RandyJ
