One of the requirements is for a multi series bar/area chart, and we want the area series to be first but be able to see through it to the bar series behind it. Take a look at the following sample: chart1.Series[0].Color = Color.FromArgb(50, 255, 200, 100); The first parameter refers to the "alpha" component. Unfortunately, the only way to specify the series color is writing code for the component, and it is not possible due to a Reporting Services limitation.
