gwilhelms Posted April 4, 2008 Report Share Posted April 4, 2008 Hello, we have a problem installing the .NET Version of the ChartFX Dev Studio on our new development machine. It is a WinXP system with SP2 German. The problem is, after starting the install it shows: Please wait. Initializing Setup Files. Shortly after I get the error Chart FX DevStudio .NET Installation has encountered a problem and had to be canceled. (Or so, the error is in German). I check the Event log for any hints, but nothing. maximop Posted April 4, 2008 Report Share Posted April 4, 2008 Let's try running the installer from the command prompt as follows: C:\"installer name" /N The important thing here is that you use the /N parameter which forces the installer to run.
