tick marks on bar chart

User (Legacy)

Recommended Posts

When creating a bar chart, sometimes for a given date, a particular series

may be missing (null) some data. If this is common, it can be a little

confusing to client as to where the boundaries are between date groupings,

particularly for a larger number of series. I've attached a snapshot

example.

Is there a way of either showing a tick or some other means which clearly

shows the boundary between the date boundaries? Hope I've explained this OK.

thanks

Yes, you can do the following:

ChartFX1.Axis(AXIS_X).Style = ChartFX1.Axis(AXIS_X).Style Or AS_CENTERED

This will move the tickmarks from the middle of the group to the boundaries

of the group. If you turn Gridlines on, the gridlines will follow the

tickmarks (they will be at the same position).
