Many Properties not being exported or imported

(Using VC++ & DLL) 

I'm trying to create a setup screen where users can select (and save) the 

properties of charts they will create in the future. Basically I just create 

a (windowless) chart object, bring up the properties dialog, and when they 

are done selecting their properties, I use export to save the properties 

(using CHART_CFXOLETEMPLATE and Filemast=FMASK_ALL). 

However, if I use import later, many properties have no been saved. 

Specifically: 

1) Everything on the Axis tab. 

2) The gallery type on the Series tab.. 

3) The title on the Main tab. 

4) The gridlines selection on the Main tab. 

Are these items not included as part of the template? 

Also, is there a way I can make the properties dialog modal?
