Adding constant lines to real time charts

I am trying to add a constant line to a real time chart using Chart FX 98. 

What I want is for the line to follow the same point in the chart over the 

chart area until it reaces the end. The problem is that every thime the 

chart scrolls the line follows the point allright but is also repainted at 

it
